ScoutBird ("ScoutBird," "we," "us," or "our") is an AI-powered market intelligence service that analyzes publicly available market commentary and other market-related information to generate derived market intelligence and alerts.
ScoutBird is currently offered as a beta service for testing and evaluation.
This Privacy Policy explains how ScoutBird collects, uses, stores, discloses, and protects information when:
- you create or use a ScoutBird account;
- you connect ScoutBird to supported communication channels such as Telegram;
- you receive ScoutBird alerts;
- you communicate with us; or

ScoutBird processes two materially different categories of information:

2. Information We Collect About ScoutBird Users
2.1 Account Information
When you create or access a ScoutBird account using Google authentication, we may receive information made available through the authentication process, including:

- profile information made available through the authentication process; and
- authentication and account-related information.
We use this information to create, authenticate, secure, and administer your ScoutBird account.
ScoutBird does not receive or store your Google password.
2.2 Telegram and Alert Delivery Information
If you connect Telegram to receive ScoutBird alerts, we may process information necessary to establish and maintain that connection, including:
- Telegram user or chat identifiers;
- connection status;
- alert preferences;
- alert delivery information;
- delivery status; and
- related technical logs.
We use this information to deliver and manage the ScoutBird alerts you request.
2.3 Technical, Usage, and Security Information
When you access ScoutBird, we may process limited technical information necessary to operate, secure, diagnose, and improve the service.

- IP address;
- browser or device information;

- server and application logs;

ScoutBird does not use your Google account information, email address, Telegram identifiers, marketing preferences, or other account information as source material for ScoutBird's public-market analysis.
ScoutBird does not currently use your personal investment portfolio, personal financial circumstances, or individual risk profile to generate personalized investment recommendations.
ScoutBird User Information and Public Market Source Information serve separate purposes within the ScoutBird service.
4. Marketing Communications
If you choose to opt in, ScoutBird may use your contact information to send communications concerning:
- ScoutBird product updates;
- beta developments;
- launch announcements;
- new features;
- product news;
- offers or promotions; and
- other ScoutBird marketing communications.
Marketing communications are optional and are not required to create or maintain a ScoutBird account.

ScoutBird analyzes publicly available market-related information from third-party sources.
This information may include information relating to identifiable public commentators and may therefore constitute personal information under applicable privacy laws.
Public Market Source Information may include:
- public names;
- usernames and social-media handles;
- publicly available posts and commentary;
- publication timestamps;
- public source URLs and identifiers;
- publicly expressed views concerning markets, companies, securities, sectors, industries, economic developments, or related topics; and
- other publicly available information relevant to ScoutBird's market analysis.
ScoutBird may generate derived information from those public sources, including analytical classifications, market-signal information, and other market-related observations.
6. How We Use Public Market Source Information
ScoutBird may process Public Market Source Information to:

- generate ScoutBird market-intelligence alerts;

These purposes are separate from ScoutBird's processing of registered-user account information.
7. Source Content and Original Posts
ScoutBird may retain copies of publicly available source material internally where reasonably necessary to support:
- market analysis;
- historical signal validation;
- analytical auditability;
- methodology reproducibility;
- error investigation;
- data-quality review; and
- correction or dispute handling.
ScoutBird's user-facing service is designed to provide derived market intelligence rather than operate as a redistribution service for third-party social-media content.
Where appropriate, ScoutBird identifies or attributes the relevant public source and provides a link to the original content.
Internal source material is not intended to function as a publicly searchable archive of third-party social-media posts.
8. Public Commentators, Historical Analysis, and Corrections
ScoutBird may analyze historical market-related commentary associated with identifiable public commentators.
Where ScoutBird provides historical analytics concerning a commentator, those analytics are intended to describe measurable historical market signals under ScoutBird's methodology rather than make judgments about a person's character, honesty, trustworthiness, or general competence.
If ScoutBird introduces a Historical Signal Score or similar metric, ScoutBird may provide information explaining relevant methodology, measurement periods, and sample sizes where appropriate.
ScoutBird seeks to accurately represent publicly available market commentary.
If you are a person whose public commentary has been analyzed or referenced by ScoutBird and believe that:
- information has been incorrectly attributed to you;

AI systems may process Public Market Source Information and relevant market context to produce derived analysis such as:

- potentially affected companies or sectors;
- expected market impact;
- signal classifications;
- analytical confidence;
- risk factors; and
- other derived market intelligence.
ScoutBird User Information is not used as source material for these public-market signals merely because an individual has created a ScoutBird account.
AI-generated analysis may contain errors and should not be assumed to be complete or accurate.
12. Sale of Personal Information and Targeted Advertising
ScoutBird does not currently sell registered users' personal information for monetary consideration.
ScoutBird does not currently use registered users' personal information for third-party targeted advertising.
If these practices materially change, ScoutBird will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notices or choices required by applicable law.
13. Data Retention
Different categories of information may require different retention periods.
13.1 ScoutBird User Information
Account information may generally be retained while your account remains active and for an appropriate period afterward where reasonably necessary for:

- security;
- fraud and abuse prevention;

- other legitimate operational purposes.
Marketing consent and withdrawal records may be retained where reasonably necessary to demonstrate and respect your communication preferences.

No online service, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

15. International Processing and Data Transfers
ScoutBird is currently operated by Alex Kwan, trading as ScoutBird.
ScoutBird's primary server infrastructure is located in the United States.
ScoutBird also uses third-party service providers that may process information in the United States or other jurisdictions.
As a result, personal information may be processed or stored outside the country or region in which an individual is located.
Privacy and data-protection laws may differ between jurisdictions.
Where applicable law requires specific safeguards for international transfers of personal information, ScoutBird will take appropriate steps to implement required safeguards.

ScoutBird may update this Privacy Policy as the beta service develops, including when ScoutBird introduces new:
